South Coast Web can offer you various web design packages to suit every budget and need. Our website packages range from a simple, but effective, one page brochure site all the way up to a bespoke e-commerce solution. We only use the best web designers to help transform your vision into reality with the best practices and technologies.
The web is forever changing and new technologies are emerging which creates for a dynamic working atmosphere. One of the biggest changes that has occurred in the last 5 years is that web has become much more mobile friendly due to the ever increasing demand in smartphones. 66% of UK adults now own a smartphone* and this figure is increasing as each year passes. In Ofcom’s 2015 Communications Market Report it was also noted that a third of internet users in the UK regard their smartphone as being the primary device for accessing the web**. To keep up with this ever increasing smartphone demand South Coast Web never publishes a website live unless it is responsive, this means that it will fit on the screen of any device. It also common sense to some degree due to the simple fact that if your site isn’t responsive then you would expect to see a much lower conversion rate simply because your website does not promote a healthy user experience. You also have to bear in mind that the longer your site isn’t responsive then the higher chance there is of your customers buying from your competition.
The end goal with any web design project is to make sure that the customer is happy with the end result, this is why we take you through every step of the process to make sure that you are happy throughout. With every web design project we will always provide 30 days of post completion care in case you need any further modifications done to the site, if you wish to continue this support then this is an extra charge on a monthly basis.
With any new web design project we also include a whole bunch of extras to take a load off your budget and mind.
We like to be as informative as we can to our customers so they can get a better understanding of the work that we do and how everything fits together. Here are the current technologies we use to create our web design projects:
We like to think of HTML5 as the bare bones of the website and a structure which allows us to insert other programming languages which help give life and functionality to the site.
Whilst HTML5 defines the skeletal structure of a site, CSS3 is used to make everything look and feel fantastic. We have taken two screenshots of a client’s site to provide you with a visual representation of how CSS3 can change the look of a site.
This language is used mostly to provide validation on a website through forms and also to provide other basic functionality, without this there could be a considerable amount of spam across the internet.
This is primarily used for websites which require the use of a database in order to function correctly which means it will usually be e-commerce sites utilising this language.
We offer a no quibble 30 day post project support absolutely FREE, so if you have a change of heart about the look and feel of the site then we will happily change minor details to make sure you are happy with the final product. If you would like to extend this support then we offer a very affordable rolling monthly service which starts at £25/month and scales up based on the level of support you would like.
